Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Menaura by Menal handles information when you use this perfume store, create an account, place an order or contact us. The contact details below are for questions about your information as well as general store support.
Information you give us
- Accounts: your name, email address, Pakistan mobile number, password in protected hash form, saved addresses and account preferences.
- Orders: recipient and contact details, delivery address, postcode when supplied, products and sizes, quantities, prices, discounts, order notes, payment status, delivery status and support history.
- Optional location: an address you select from suggestions and its coordinates, or coordinates supplied when you choose the current-location option and allow your browser's location request.
- Messages and subscriptions: contact-form details, order complaints, return or refund requests, and your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter.
Cash on delivery is the current checkout payment method. We do not ask for a card number or banking password at checkout. If you receive an approved refund, we may need the minimum account or payment details required for the method we agree with you; never send a PIN, password or one-time banking code.
Technical information and browser storage
Our hosting and security services process information such as an IP address, browser details, request time and security or error logs to deliver the site, investigate faults and prevent misuse. Essential cookies maintain your session, login, basket and form security. The site also uses your browser's local storage, IndexedDB and service worker cache to save public pages, product information and pending offline basket additions. How we use information
We use information to run your account; check stock, prices and offer eligibility; confirm orders by phone; deliver purchases; provide receipts and service updates; handle complaints, returns and refunds; secure the store; and keep records needed for our business and applicable legal obligations. We use optional newsletter details for fragrance news and offers. Ordering does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Address suggestions and location
Typing an address can request suggestions through our server from Photon, hosted by Komoot, using OpenStreetMap data. The search text is sent to that service. Choosing current location is optional and requires your browser's permission; the coordinates are sent through our server for an address lookup and can be saved with the submitted delivery address. Selecting an address suggestion can also supply coordinates without using device-location permission. We cache lookup results on our server for up to seven days to reduce repeat requests.
You can type the full address manually and decline device-location permission. Review and correct the address before ordering. For provider information, see Komoot's privacy policy and OpenStreetMap's information.
Who receives information
We share information needed to fulfil your order with the courier or delivery partner and with the service providers that operate our hosting, security and transactional email. Cloudflare helps deliver and protect this site; its handling of visitor information is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our email relay provider processes email recipient details and message content to deliver store messages. Address-lookup processing is described above. Providers may operate outside Pakistan.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with a lawful requirement, respond to a legal claim or protect people and the store against fraud or misuse.
Optional marketing and notifications
Email newsletter sign-up is separate from an order. You can use an available unsubscribe link or contact us to stop marketing email; necessary order and support messages may still be sent.
Browser push notifications are optional. If this feature is available, it uses OneSignal and asks for browser permission only when you choose it. Order alerts and promotional offers have separate choices. A push subscription identifier, a store-generated identity and your preferences may be shared with OneSignal to deliver the selected messages. You can change those choices in the notification controls or withdraw permission in your browser. See OneSignal's privacy policy. A feature that is disabled does not send subscription information to that provider.
Keeping information and keeping it secure
We keep information for as long as it is needed for its stated purpose, including order fulfilment, account access, unresolved support matters, fraud prevention and applicable record-keeping duties. There is no single retention period for every record. We limit access to the people and services that need it and use protective measures such as HTTPS and password hashing. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can correct available profile details and saved addresses in your account, decline optional location or notifications, unsubscribe from offers, or clear this site's browser storage. You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold about you. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Some information may need to remain for an outstanding order, dispute, security reason or legal obligation; we will explain any applicable limit.
Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in an order note or support message. If you believe someone has used your account without permission, contact us and change your password promptly.
